Carling was raised in a Christian household with a mixture of evangelical and charismatic influences. As she grew in her relationship with the Lord over the years, God instilled a passion within Carling for the local church, leading worship, and seeing people personally encounter the heart of God. Carling was a Registered Nurse specializing in maternity and neonatal care prior to leaving the field in 2024 to answer the call of church planting.
